Bernard lookout tower

This competition was announced by the Bernard brewery in the city of Pelhřimov. They wanted to transform existing chimney into lookout tower with preserving a functionality of the chimney. Another requirment was to prevent completely the option of falling/jumping of it.
Load-bearing steel structure of the lookout tower is consisting of two spirals and four supporting pillars. One spiral is also holding the spircal staircase. A viewing point on the top is made completely transparent with some semi-transparent parts in the bottom, that are made from recycled beer bottles.
There is also steel safe net implemented for protection reasons and possibility for climbing plants to enrich the appearance of the lookout tower.
